Junky Monkeys!

Kia Ora bloggers! 🙂

Yesterday room 24, 17, and 25 went to Junky Monkeys. Junky Monkeys is a company where they get peoples rubbish and take it to local schools so they can be creative and make whatever they want. Now, they’re at our school! Me, Lusia, Emma and Sophia made something together. I sat in a washing basket tied to a plastic gate, and they pulled me along with a piece of rope. I Also had a blanket in there. Then, we moved to a bin, as it was easier. I really like Junky Monkeys, and I hope we can do it again. Did you make more than 1 thing?

Science: Spaced out!

Kia Ora bloggers!

Today we did science using the Spaced Out science kit. We got a ball of play dough and a line with coloured beads on it, and then made our own planets using the play dough. It was really fun but it was hard getting the right measurements of play dough. We had instructions, but it was still pretty hard. We have also been learning about space this week, and it has been pretty interesting.

What is your favourite planet apart from Earth? Mine’s Uranus because of the light blue colour.
